  2. Don Wicks was to file for non-profit status with the State of Mississippi.
  3. A Bank Account was to be opened at First National Bank with the subject title.

Background: Hilda Hoffman passed on July 4th, 2010, leaving hundreds of boxes of histories, genealogies, cemetery records and miscellaneous historical material with the stipulation that her collection be housed in Pearl River County and be open to the public. Responsibility for the archive was given to Sara Sheldon. Sara and Helen Clunie moved the collection to a metal building and began sorting the material while searching for safer storage. A climate controlled facility was found in Hancock County and the process of moving began. The future of the collection and other collections in and around Pearl River County was discussed, prompting formation of the above organization.
